Fremont, California – Electric mobility startup Pebble has commenced deliveries of its flagship solar-electric Flow travel trailer to early customers across the United States, less than three months after initiating production. This significant milestone for the nascent company includes the introduction of an industry-first automated waste disposal feature, dubbed “Auto Dump,” poised to redefine convenience in the recreational vehicle (RV) sector.
Pebble, a specialist in electric recreational vehicles, is disrupting a traditionally stagnant market with its technologically advanced and aesthetically modern designs. The Flow trailer, first unveiled in Fall 2023, boasts a design that is reportedly 300% more aerodynamic than conventional travel trailers, significantly reducing drag and extending the range of towing vehicles, whether internal combustion engine or electric. A key innovation is its optional dual-motor active propulsion assist system, which helps the trailer bear its own load, thereby maximizing overall efficiency.
Production of the Flow's exclusive Founder's Edition began in April 2025 at Pebble’s 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fremont, California. The initial deliveries represent the culmination of years of research, development, and strategic upgrades, including a production-intent design unveiled in January that enhanced space utilization and integrated remarkable functions controllable via a single tablet.
The Flow's market entry, alongside other sustainable recreation mobility products, signals a new era for clean travel and tourism. Its integrated solar capabilities allow for up to seven days of off-grid operation, providing unparalleled freedom for owners. Unlike most traditional RVs, the Flow incorporates its own propulsion system and leverages advanced robotics and software-defined features to automate tedious tasks, such as hitching.
Pebble founder and CEO Bingrui Yang stated, “Delivering a Pebble Flow to our earliest customers and believers is a defining moment for our team. This product reflects years of engineering and thoughtful iteration, built on the belief that every detail, from setup to travel, should feel effortless and intuitive. This is the moment we’ve been building towards, and we can’t wait to see more and more Pebble Flow travel trailers on the road.”
A standout feature in these initial deliveries is the “Auto Dump” system, hailed as the RV industry’s first automated, one-touch waste disposal solution. This innovation addresses one of the least glamorous aspects of RVing by simplifying the process: users place a pre-connected hose in the sewer inlet, tap “Dump” on the Pebble App, and return the hose to its integrated storage. The system features an expanded 18-gallon black water tank, a macerating toilet, a pump-powered hose for efficient drainage, and built-in safety logic to prevent user error. Furthermore, the Flow is capable of a self-cleaning rinse cycle that utilizes gray water recycled from sinks and showers, enhancing sustainability by reducing overall water consumption.
Pebble plans to steadily scale production throughout 2025 to meet demand without compromising product quality. Additional Founder’s Edition reservation holders will be invited to finalize their orders in Q3. The Founder’s Edition starts at an MSRP of $175,000, with a $500 refundable deposit, and some customers may qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $12,450. The Flow represents a significant step towards a more sustainable and technologically integrated future for recreational travel.
