Sunkind Energy Ltd has entered a strategic technical partnership with JA Solar to bolster its upcoming 2.4 GW solar cell and 4 GW module manufacturing facilities in India. The collaboration will integrate JA Solar’s advanced technologies and supply chain expertise, enhancing Sunkind’s manufacturing capabilities and aligning with global best practices.

Hanish Gupta, founder and managing director of Sunkind Energy, emphasized the timing of the partnership, stating, "As India accelerates its transition towards renewable energy, the demand for high-performance solar solutions is at an all-time high. This collaboration will deliver world-class solar cells and modules, supporting India’s vision for self-reliant industrial growth."

JA Solar’s expertise in TOPCon cell technologies and production methodologies will strengthen Sunkind’s operational capabilities. The partnership is expected to elevate output quality while meeting international standards.

Founded in 2019, Sunkind has executed over 150 MW of EPC projects and is diversifying into solar manufacturing, energy storage, and EV infrastructure. JA Solar, established in 2005, has shipped over 280 GW of PV products globally.
