Appleton's City Plan Commission unanimously approved a special use permit for a 77,000-square-foot Rivian electric vehicle service and demonstration center.

The 100-megawatt Apple River Solar Project in Polk County, Wisconsin, is slated for operation this year, projected to power approximately 26,000 homes.
