Police have detained a Hithium Energy Storage Technology executive, Feng Dengke, for suspected infringement of business secrets, following a report by rival Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL).

CATL maintained its position as the top global energy storage technology provider by battery shipments, excluding backup power applications, according to the China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA).
