The UK government is championing Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) to re-establish the Midlands as a pivotal center for nuclear energy generation.

The Andhra Pradesh government approved a 350 MW Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project by Krishnapatnam Power Corporation Limited, with a Rs 1,225 crore investment and 575 jobs.
